I’m Charlotte Cumming, a freelance website designer based in London. cc-studio is a trading name of Charlotte Cumming Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16519353). This policy explains what personal information I collect when you visit this website, get in touch or work with me, how I use it, and your rights over it. What I collect
Contact details you send me: your name, email address, phone number, business name and website.
What you tell me about your project, through the enquiry form, by email or on a call.
If you book a call: the details you enter on the booking page.
If we work together: billing details for invoices and payments.
Website usage: pages visited, time on the site, browser, device, general location and the site you came from. This comes through cookies, and only with your consent.
How I use it
To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls.
To quote for, plan and deliver your project, and to manage our working relationship.
To send invoices and keep financial records.
To understand how this website is used and improve it.
To publish your testimonial or project as a case study, only with your permission.
To meet my legal and tax obligations.
I won’t add you to a mailing list without your permission, and I never sell or rent your information.
The legal basis
I use your information to take steps before a contract and to deliver it (for example, responding to a quote request or building your site), to meet legal obligations, for my legitimate business interests (running and improving my business and website), and with your consent (for analytics cookies, testimonials and any marketing emails). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who I share it with
Only the services I use to run my business, and only as far as they need it:
Framer: hosts this website and receives enquiry form submissions.
Cal.com: call bookings.
Google: stores the enquiries I receive by email, and provides website analytics (only if you accept cookies).
My bank, for payments.
Some of these services are based outside the UK, mainly in the US. Where that applies, they use recognised safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses, to protect your information. I may also share information where the law requires it, for example with HMRC or a court.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t go ahead: up to 12 months, then deleted.
Client project and contract records: for as long as we work together, and then as long as needed for legal and tax purposes (usually six years for financial records).
Analytics data: kept in aggregated form, and not used to identify you.

This site links to other websites and social platforms, such as LinkedIn and Instagram. They have their own privacy policies, and I’m not responsible for how they handle your information.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
send you a copy of the personal information I hold about you
correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
delete your information, or limit how I use it
stop using it, including for marketing
withdraw any consent you’ve given
Email info@charlottecumming.com and I’ll respond within one month. I keep only what I’m legally required to, such as contracts and invoices. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
